OUTCOME

Worlds first performance vehicle using generative fluid design, reduction of lead time from concept to manufacturing by 70%, development of fully custom Porsche platform based vehicle, massive earned media and industry attention to project success

PROCESS

Identified pain points of customer, intended deadlines, and necessary outcomes, balanced timeline to create space for necessary exploration and experimentation, with regimented deliverable dates based on realistic output. Organized internal and external teams with focused goals, with regular convergence points to minimize risk of silo’d processes. Standard ideate, validate, renew workflows used in novel ways

METHOD

Project is engineering led, meaning design needs to be in service of performance, but not at the behest of beauty. Balance found to identify greatest opportunities for aesthetic consideration, leaning into manufacturing processes to be used and highlighting the geometric capabilities of each process.
